Cold Brew Coffee

Smooth, low-acid coffee brewed cold using a 1:5 concentrate ratio.

Difficulty: Easy · Time: 12-24 hours · Yield: 1700ml concentrate

Ingredients

  • Coffee beans — 340 grams
  • Cold water — 1700ml

Equipment

  • Espro Cold Brew Kit

Instructions

  1. Coarse grind coffee beans (340g)
  2. Add grounds to Espro Cold Brew Kit
  3. Pour cold water (1700ml) over grounds
  4. Stir mixture to ensure all grounds are saturated
  5. Cover and steep at room temperature for 12-24 hours
  6. Strain with Espro Cold Brew Kit into growler
  7. Store concentrate in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks
  8. To serve: Mix 1 part concentrate with 1 part water.
  9. Add ice and enjoy immediately

Tips

This makes a strong concentrate for all cold brew drinks. The concentrate stays fresh for 2 weeks refrigerated.
